As part of the respect of rules and standards related to the exploitation of rubber, Prime Prestige has trained its agents of the exploitation pole on the quality control of natural rubber on its park before export, this Friday, March 12, 2021.
Important points were discussed during this training, particularly on the obligations and regulatory requirements in force by the State of Côte d’Ivoire for exporters with a state of compliance of DRC set at 64%.
The storage of the production on a rack, the ownership of the tapping and collection equipment on the field and weighbridge, the regular elimination of the contaminants of the stored rubber and the use of tarpaulin, the stop of the cumulative tapping, the well dressed container etc… are among others the usual advice which was given during this training.
The wearing of gloves, protective vests and safety shoes or boots are the basic elements of protection of the personnel required during the period of reception and storage of the product in order to avoid contamination and obtain quality rubber conditioned in better conditions.
The Director of Purchasing Operations of Prime Prestige Mr. ATTOUMAN K Firmin emphasized the strict compliance with these requirements throughout the value chain in order to avoid financial and production losses.
This theoretical session ended with a practical part on the Prime Prestige park where demonstrations were made with adapted observation tools with an evaluation form
